Deliciousness of the Day

Slow Roasted Roma Tomatoes

Whatcha Need:

Roma Tomatoes
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper

How to do it:

Preheat oven to 300

Wash and dry the tomatoes, remove the stem ends. Slice the tomatoes in halves and toss with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

I roasted my tomatoes for an hour, but this recipe is very versatile.
You could easily roast them at a lower heat (about 200) for over 4 hours. That would give you a much more savory, syrupy tomato.

These are delicious on their own, but I cut up a few of mine to toss with tortellini's and pesto!

See how I made a delicious Almost Flour-Less Chocolate Cake
